Texting while driving is now illegal in Oklahoma, thanks to a law that went into effect on Nov. 1. According to reports, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol has already issued close to 100 citations to drivers accused of violating the law, and that number will likely continue to rise.

We all know that texting and driving is dangerous, but now it is also illegal. On November 1, a new law went into effect in Oklahoma making it against the law to "manually compose, send or read an electronic text message while the motor vehicle is in motion."
